Maked is a collaborative craft group currently made up of
4 ingenious (we think) women:

 

We sew, knit, crochet, weave, bead, spin, screenprint, felt, make soap, and most anything else you can think of that has a crafty bent to it. If we don't do it currently, it's on a to-do list somewhere to learn it.

We're especially interested in recycling and repurposing objects - finding new and fun uses for unwanted goods.

We were all brought together by Craftster.org. Now we meet to craft - sharing skills and knowledge and lots of laughs.

What's with the sock monkey? Up in our banner you see Monsieur, our mascot and inspiration: a French sock monkey complete with beret and monogrammed scarf. He keeps us company at craft fairs and is a popular fellow. Sometimes his sock monkey friends show up for sale in our shop but we don't tell him about that.
